FIRST AID, CPR, & AED TRAININGS

 

HSSFA415 – Standard First Aid/Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED - $65.00 per person

HSSFA303 – Adult, Child & Infant CPR with AED - $45.00 per person

This course trains students to recognize and care for victims of illnesses and sudden injuries, to overcome the reluctance to “Act” in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory and cardiac emergencies by administering the up-to-date procedures of CPR.  Students may also be trained on the proper use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) if shock is needed.   Nov 14th, Dec 12th, Jan 9th, Feb 6th , March 6th April 3rd, May 8th, June 5th, July 10th , Aug 7th , Sept 4th , Oct 2nd, Nov 6th , Dec 4th                                       8am – 3:30pm

 

HSSFA415-R – Standard First Aid/Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED – Review - $34.00 per person                                  * Available upon request

 

HSSFA415-C – Standard First Aid/Adult, Child & Infant CPR/AED – Challenge - $32.00 per person

Students will demonstrate First Aid, CPR, and AED techniques to the instructor.  No instruction is given EXAM ONLY during this course: exams only.  This course is meant for those who are familiar with the course content and do not require any instruction.               * Available upon request

 

HSSFA101 – Standard First Aid (ONLY) - $35.00 per person.

This course trains students to become familiar with how to recognize and care for victims of illness and sudden injuries, and to overcome reluctance to “Act” in emergency situations.               Nov 19t h,   Dec 17th,   Jan 20th, Feb 17th ,March 17th, April 21st, May 12th , June 16th, July 21st, Aug 18th , Sept 15th, Oct 27th, Nov 10th , Dec 8th                                                                                        6pm – 10pm

 

HSSFA107 – Adult CPR and AED - $40.00 per person

This course trains students to become familiar with how to recognize and care for victims of respiratory or cardiac emergencies with the proper use of CPR & AED.  Nov 16th, Dec 14th, Jan 13th Feb 3rd, march 10th, April 14th, may 5th, June 2nd, July 14th, Aug 11th, Sept 8th, Oct 13th, Nov 3rd, Dec 1st      6pm-10pm

 

HSSFA203 - Infant and Child CPR - $40.00 per person

This course trains students to become familiar with how to recognize and care for infants and children with respiratory or cardiac emergencies. Jan 4th, Feb 1st , March 8th , April 5th, May 3rd, June 14th , July 12th , Aug 2nd, Oct 11th , Nov 1st, Dec 6th                                                                                                                                                  6pm – 10pm

PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS

 

HSPRO-101 CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED - $75.00 per person

This course is geared towards the health & safety professional.  Course includes a participant manual.  There is an additional charge for a pocket mask.

 

HSPRO-101-R CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED – Review - $47.00 per person

This course is a thorough review and students are required to bring their Book & Pocket Mask.  Students must be currently certified. Jan 27th, 28th, Feb 24th, 25th, March 24th, 25th, April 28th, 29th May 19th, June 23rd, 24th, July 28th, 29th Aug 25th, 26th Sept 22nd, 23rd, Oct20th, 21st Nov17th, 18th       Dec 15th, 16th                 6pm-10pm

 

HSPRO-101-C CPR for the Professional Rescuer with AED – Challenge - $47.00 per person

There are no instructions (SKILLS & TEST ONLY) with this course, students will be expected to take a written and skills test only. Students must bring there own pocket mask or one can be purchased from the chapter.

 

INSTRUCTOR TRAININGS

 

#3030 – Fundamentals of Instructor Training - $20.00 per person

This course is a prerequisite for all instructor courses. It is intended to introduce instructor candidates to the history, structure and activities of the American Red Cross, prepare the candidates to teach American Red Cross specialty courses to diverse populations, and to introduce the candidates to the policies and the procedures of the American Red Cross. Feb 8th March 1st June 7th Oct 4th  6pm-10pm

 

HSSFA801 – Lay Responder First Aid/CPR/AED “Instructor Course” $60.00 per person

Participant will learn to teach others to save lives using First Aid/CPR/AED; they will receive hands-on demonstrations in First Aid for adults, infants & Children, Adult & Child CPR with AED and Infant CPR. Feb 9-12 March 2nd-5th June 8-11                              6pm-10pm

 

HSSFA802 – CPR Professional Rescuer Instructor Course - $100

Designed for any individual who has a duty to respond to emergencies, this 8hr course combines lectures and video with hands-on skill training; incorporates real-life rescue scenarios and lessons that reinforce decision-making skills.

March 2nd – 5th October 5th – 8th                                                              6pm – 10pm

3260-I – Emergency Response Instructor Cross-Over Course - $150.00 per person

This comprehensive first responder level course is ideal for the student pursuing a healthcare career or a career involving a duty to respond in emergency situations.  May 11th & 12th

Prerequisite:  Must be a current Red Cross Instructor State 1st Responder student level or EMS Instructor

#3130 Baby Sitting Course - $40.00 per person

Ambitious boys and girls 11 years of age & older are welcome to learn a series of essential skills and confidence to care for infants and school age children through this two day course.  Each student will receive a Baby Sitting Manual and a Backpack.

#CNPFA-101 Pet First Aid - $30.00 per person

This course was created with the Humane Society to provide quick first aid response and reference for dog and cat injuries and illnesses. Please pack a lunch!                                                                       * Available upon request

The cost of this course as an Add-on to any professional training course is $5.00 per person or a $20.00 stand alone course     * Available upon request

 

#32750 – Sports Safety Course - $50.00 per person

This course is designed to help coaches, athletic trainers, and other participants identify and eliminate potential hazardous conditions in various sports environments, recognize emergencies, and make appropriate decisions for First Aid care.                        September 9th & 10th 6pm – 10pm

 

Swimming & Water Safety Training

SWIMMING AND WATER SAFETY TRAININGS

The American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program is a comprehensive training program that teaches people to swim and to help them be safe in, on, or around water. The program includes swimming courses for all age groups and abilities.

Learn to Swim: The six levels of learn-to-swim instruction helps swimmers of all ages and abilities develop their swimming and water safety skills. It is designed to give students a positive learning experience. American Red Cross Learn to Swim teaches aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and be safe in, on and around water.

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
Our office must receive all registrations and payment no later than one week prior to the start of the class.
Many other courses are available if you dont see one listed just ask!
